AI Phone ("we," "our," or "us") provides an AI-powered phone calling service that makes outbound calls on your behalf. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service. By using AI Phone, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.

2.1 Account Information

  • Email address and password (hashed)
  • Name and profile information you provide
  • Payment and billing information (processed by Stripe)
  • Account preferences and settings

2.2 Call Data

  • Phone numbers you request calls to be made to
  • Call instructions and objectives you provide
  • Full audio recordings of all calls made by our AI
  • Transcripts of call conversations
  • Call metadata (duration, timestamps, call status, outcome)
  • Contact names and any information you associate with phone numbers

2.3 Technical Information

  • Device information and identifiers

  • Push notification tokens

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide the service: We use your call instructions to direct our AI agent during phone calls, and store recordings and transcripts for your review.
  • To process payments: We use your billing information to charge for credits and call usage.
  • To improve our AI: We may use anonymized and aggregated call data to improve our AI models and service quality. Individual call recordings are not used for training without explicit consent.
  • To communicate with you: We send transactional emails, call completion notifications, and service updates.
  • To ensure security: We monitor for fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate AI Caller:

  • AI Voice Provider: Provides AI voice synthesis and conversational AI capabilities. Call audio is processed through their systems.
  • Twilio: Provides telephony infrastructure for making phone calls. Phone numbers and call audio pass through their network.
  • Firebase (Google): Provides authentication, database, and push notification services.
  • Stripe: Processes all payment transactions. We do not store your full credit card information.
  • Google Cloud Platform: Hosts our backend infrastructure.

5. Data Retention

  • Call recordings and transcripts: Retained for 90 days after the call, unless you delete them earlier. After 90 days, they are automatically deleted.
  • Call metadata: Retained for as long as your account is active, or as required for billing and legal purposes.
  • Account information: Retained until you delete your account, plus any period required by law.
  • Payment records: Retained for 7 years as required by tax and financial regulations.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256)
  • Secure authentication with Firebase Auth
  • Regular security audits and monitoring
  • Access controls and logging for all systems

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights and Choices

  • Access: You can access your call history, recordings, and account information through the app.
  • Deletion: You can delete individual call recordings or request deletion of your entire account by contacting us.
  • Export: You can download your call recordings and transcripts.
  • Opt-out: You can disable push notifications and marketing emails in your account settings.

8. Call Recipients' Privacy

When our AI makes calls on your behalf, the recipients of those calls are third parties. Important considerations:

  • Our AI identifies itself as an AI assistant calling on your behalf at the start of each call.
  • Call recipients may have their own privacy rights depending on their jurisdiction. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to contact them.
  • In some jurisdictions, recording calls requires consent from all parties. By using our service, you represent that you have obtained any required consent or that single-party consent applies.
  • We may be required to provide call records to law enforcement in response to valid legal process.

9. Children's Privacy

AI Phone is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will delete that information promptly.

10. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, where our servers and third-party service providers are located. These countries may have different data protection laws. By using AI Phone, you consent to such transfers.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by email or through the app. Your continued use of AI Phone after such notification constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
